In white ABS, the unique drainage pattern on the bottom of the tray has raised bumps, "nipples", strategically placed to stabilize any size or type of pot or grow cube. This feature allows more air to flow beneath the pot/cube to facilitate healthier root growth. The drainage rails are designed to remove all water from the drain cycle so that roots are not sitting in any stagnant water.
